Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) is an award-winning social enterprise which is a centre of ethical garment manufacturing with a leading status in the Fast Forward audit and is also SMETA audited. FEL has a minimum order quantity of 1 for their Fashion Studio service and currently produces up to 40,000 garments a week for speed of response fashion from their three units in Haringey, North London and Wales.
Clients include ASOS, N Brown and Simply B, I Saw it First, Brora and brands such as Louisa Parris and Matthew Williamson.
FEL has partnered with Kornit Digital for sustainable On-Demand Textile Production with Asos, enabling FEL to rapidly deliver test-and-repeat small product runs on behalf of ASOS. In addition, FEL is also delighted to announce a working relationship with Zund for the latest in cutting technology.
FEL launched the UK's first SFA approved Fashion Technology Academy in 2015 operating alongside the Factory and includes a range of qualifications at Levels 1 to 5 covering the 'Garment life cycle' including Stitching, Production, Pattern Cutting and Tailoring. FEL is also the largest training providers of Apprenticeships at levels 3 and 4 within Apparel Manufacturing (fashion) working with employers such as ASOS.com, Marks & Spencer, River Island and Amazon.
In November 2019 FEL launched the Tailoring Academy following funding from the Mayor of London's Good Growth Fund and Haringey Council. The Tailoring Academy is a state-of-the-art clothing manufacturing and training facility based which provides specialist skills, job training and apprenticeships for ready to wear and bespoke tailoring. Current clients include Gieves and Hawke, Harrods and Ralph and Russo.
In August 2020 FEL has opened the FC Designer Collective retail shop with Islington Council, LEAP and the GLA to provide business support to local brands and working alongside the garment makers and wholesalers of the famous Fonthill Road. This program will be expanded to include Affordable Workspaces in 2021.
FEL works constantly with local authorities to create new training and job opportunities such as Leicester City Council and a new Fashion Technology Academy which is opening June 2021.
FEL will open a new academy in Newtown in September 2021.
